finding your stone

I thought the alcohol loosened me up. That it brought me closer to where I was and what I was seeing.
In fact alcohol pulled me away from myself. Not into the environment I was seeing but into an environment I was imagining. Alcohol took me away from myself. I did not like being in myself. I did not like being me.

Finding your stone is about finding yourself. To become aware of your surroundings, your touch, your view. If you look to see, see to collect and bring life to your thoughts you begin to create and interior world.
You can begin to discover your own internal universe. You speak out loud to hear yourself. You identify and create a moment a memory. You touch a stone to put it in your pocket. It is visual ..tactile you use your senses to bring awareness to open the pathways to your internal universe.

To yourself

You stop. You think. You photograph your everyday environment .At first you try and editorialize it. Describe it as you see it but, in time , you try and describe it as it is ..as it exists to itself.

All things have their own belongings. Their own reason.
You see that same coffee shop every day. You see it full of people. You see the same people. It is part of your routine but do you really look at it. Is it just a JPEG or is it 4K.?
